Why does God hate me?

I just realized Wednesday's opening night in the NHL conflicts with the season premiere of Lost. Great. As much as I love the Sens, a choice between Spezza or Sawyer, Heatley or The Hatch, Fisher or Freckles isn't as easy as you'd think. For the past week my personal life has taken a back seat to late night DVD marathons catching up on season 2. Hopefully by the time 9pm rolls around, Ottawa will be up by six goals and my interest will have diminished, so I can watch Jack bitchslap The Others without any distractions.

Lost is pretty amazing. That show and 24 are tough conflicts with hockey. Fortunately, I have Replay TV (like a Tivo) and a Tivo of sorts on my laptop so I can record the show and the hockey game or two TV shows and watch the game live. :) You can always buy the Lost episodes for $1.99/each on iTunes if push comes to shove...

You're right Christy, but the people I work with talk about the show the next day until they're blue in the face, so if I try and watch it a day late, I'd be sorta in the loop already, and that's no good.

God gave us "picture in picture televisions" for a reason, McMurtry. So you can catch the end of the third without missing the unveiling of the "Others' compound".

Prediction: Sens take it 4-2; Michael somehow gets lost and ends up back on the island...again.

My Wednesday choice:

Watch hockey on TV, or go out and play ultimate frisbee. I think I'll take the running around.... but I'll bring a radio.

I'd say tape Lost and just watch it after the game.

I'll likely be flipping between the game and playoff baseball. I'll keep an eye on the Sens but baseball is still #1 for me until the World Series is over. I'm an odd bird among Canadians that way.

If anyone chooses some silly network hyped show over a non scripted live sporting event(Especially the return of NHL hockey) they are a loser!
